He and Levitre are safe, we must have some continuity somewhere on this team. I wasn't impressed by any of the Oline last year but Warmack and levitre both started to play better towards the end. Lewan is a straight stud.
We obviously need a RT, my preference is to sign Roos to play there and draft a RT and G later on in the draft and sign spencer again. Spend the big money in other areas.

Good topic of discussion. Like most have already covered, I think he's safe purely because there are so many other needs that he will basically be forgotten. Can't imagine the Titans use a draft pick on a C. What I would like to see is them target a decent undrafted one and have a camp competition for the spot. Not insane to think an undrafted C could be an upgrade.

If they can bring in some competition at C without spending much money or a draft pick, go for it. But, its not a do or die situation. Too many holes to fill and only so many moves can be made.

no discussion on Schwenke would be complete if we do not discuss his injury situation. he will miss OTAs and likely most of training camp too. that is bad news for a guy who needs to work at getting better.

I'd say his roster spot is 100% safe, his starting job 65% safe.

Whiz gives vets the edge over rookies. But if we sign an older Center, look for Schwenke to become the back-up going into camp.

IDK about all that. You speak of continuity as if there was any last year. We had something like 16 different OLine combinations last year, there is zero continuity to maintain, outside of Lewan and Warmack no one should be safe.

Competition like many are saying this year - and then next year in 2016 really address it if there is still a problem. Worry about the D-line, corners, safties all first. This year will be fix the defense and next year should be fix the offense.

All QBs need good line play

But remember who we have back there. If Mett is indeed the starter one more year which I hope hes given the chance - he is a statue back there and combine that with his injury history, if anyone needs an upgraded O-line, its him!

I think with all the holes, they'll focus elsewhere. This roster is really bad, and Schwenke is somewhere in the middle, not near the bottom.
