No but some of my friends went to see it. Apparently it's pretty boring. Which was obvious to me considering they couldn't do half the things in the book. Not really sure what people were expecting...

I learned that the woman who directed 50 Shades of Grey is married to the actor who played Kick-Ass. Lol

    She's like twice his age.

But f*ck no I didn't see that sh*t and no woman could've dragged me to it. That's loose butthole.

So I just watched Iron Man 3 again and I'm officially changing my views on it. The first time I saw it, I was upset with the Mandarin twist (along with 99% of the viewers). The second time came when it came out on Blu-Ray, I was still a little mad about the twist and just chalked it up as boring. For some reason I felt like watching it again and glad that I did. I think it's actually a pretty underrated film now.

Of course it doesn't have as much action as you would hope a superhero summer blockbuster would have but I think this story was a very good reflection on the character of Tony Stark in the comics. Tony Stark always has some sort of issues going on and it should definitely happen in the movies as well. It would be like having a Spider-Man movie but Peter Parker didn't have relationship issues or wasn't picked on in school etc etc.

Iron Man 2 will forever be the worst of the Iron Man movies and maybe even the whole Marvel series. Bad story, villain, was sacrificed to set up the SHIELD story, and that movie truly didn't have any action scenes. We saw War Machine fight for like 12 seconds.

And after reading the latest Robert Downey Jr interview I think he's going to replace Samuel L. Jackson as the leader of SHIELD, you know, whenever it's rebuilt.

I agree when it comes to movies, but stand up acts are more timeless IMO. I have seen 20 somethings watching Eddie Murphy Delirious with their parents and die laughing, for example. I remember watching old Buddy Hackett standups on videotape when I was younger and totally loved them.

Regarding movies, a couple of great comedies that I have not seen yet are Coming to America (old timers vote) and The Hangover (some proof that even old timers can get modern from time to time).

Watched the movie Fury last night. It was good, but there really is no real plot or sub-plots. Everyone knows how brutal WW2 was and this movie just felt like it was just stating the obvious. The only thing that made it enjoyable for me is that I find the WW2 years very interesting.
