I get what you're saying XO... there is more to a franchise than just the product on the field.

Credit where it's due... I've read that going to Jag games is increasingly more fun for people. The team appears to be improving... a bit.

Still all-around better than what the Titans have, currently.

Granted... the Tarps had nowhere to go but up.

One thing to recognize we suck, something totally different to aspire to be the Jaguars.

Build a good football team the fans will come, install pools, and neighboring retail shops does NOTHING to help the football product.

    No

Khan has done all of the things for the Jaguars that most Titans fans have been asking for.

    - New logo, we need it
    - New uni, ours are hideous
    - Made Everbank a fun venue
    - Relating to the fans
    - Taking an interest in the city, ours cares about Houston

The Titans franchise has zero energy and culture. The game day experience is laughable.

We are the forgotten team of the league.

Ownership can change the culture of a franchise, change the way a city looks at a team. Apathy towards the Titans in the mid state is at an all time high and not just because the product on the field is 50 shades of embarrassing.

Nobody believes in Tommy Smith as an owner, nobody and why would you?

Check any multi team NFL forum on the net and see people's attitudes towards the Jaguars. r/NFL, ESPN, NFL, SBNation, the Jags are hot.

This team is important to me not only as a football team, but also because they represent my city, my home. I want them to be woven in the culture of Nashville just as much as I want them to win football games.

The Predators are doing this and are killing it. The Grizzlies in Memphis are the same way. The Grizz own the hearts of Memphis. That is Memphis's team and the players and ownership show it. It is the same with the Predators in Nashville.

No doubt. Problem is "we" can't really do anything about it other than stop financially supporting the team (Which I've already done. This franchise hasn't got a single dime from me since the 2012 season). But even then we are ultimately such a small group and there are still way too many people more than willing to flush their hard earned money down the toilet on this team.

yea those non football franchises you mention are winning programs, not selling "community" to win, they have good talent therefor people show up.

This project probably wont even happen the way its drawn up, bring this up in 6 years when they break ground.

Also I and many others have no hang ups with petty stuff like uniforms, ours isn't bad.

Yeah I think our logo is terrible but at the end of the day a new logo isn't going to change the culture or translate to wins on the field. I would like to see an owner who actually cares about the city though and takes an active interest in it.

I want him to produce a better product that better exemplifies the community. Read his pressers- his "PR" people are telling him that's what the people want but he fails miserably at achieving that goal. The guy just isn't Nashville- he's Houston. He doesn't WANT to be Nashville.

At the very least somebody with minority ownership should be IN Nashville full time. There really isn't any other way to be in sync with the pulse of the community.

Can you honestly tell me the Titans have done a good job is this regard?

Our uniforms are constantly named as some of the worst in the league and our logo is a running joke.

    Try again.

I don't even wear Titans stuff that much and not because I'm ashamed or anything. The logo and gear is just not all that aesthetically pleasing. The thumbtack doesn't even center up on a hat.

Step one can be branding this team with a powerful logo that people can rep, not a flaming meatball.

I will say the Jags new logo looks like it was designed by Disney but hey they tried. Better than what they had.

Ostrich one: Man- New speakers and that big screen over the country barn motifs is AWESOME!

Ostrich two: Yeah- that'll sure bring in the fans. And don't forget that raccoon- He's been crackin' me up for 15 years!

Ostrich one: Good stuff for sure......I don't know where the crowds are.......
