What it is like to have a real owner who cares about the city

I genuinely feel for you on that one. I guess you can consider it a lesson to be learned.. but it sucks. No sporting event is worth that much time and effort, not even the super bowl.

Bingo. That's why I'm waiting. I have no problem watching them on TV, have a pretty gnarly set up. Live with a dude who's a Vikings fan and we both live in SC. So football Sundays are 3 TVs setup with Vikings game, Titans game, and Redzone... with a kegerator.

 

I haven't had the pleasure to go to LP Field, but I've heard a lot about it from friends.

My friend went to Pittsburgh cause he had free tickets, said he probably wouldn't go to a game again even if the tickets were free until there are changes.

I've only been to games in Houston and Dallas. Houston actually has a cool atmosphere but majority of their fans are douches. Dallas stadium is as good as advertised, maybe even better in person.

 

Buccos made it to the playoffs last year.

Pittsburgh is a sport city. and their fans are die hards

back in the 70's i believe all 3 of their sports teams was winning championships

 

I can agree with your post for the most part. But this:

Stop drinking. Premier franchises? They're still easily one of the worst and it doesn't look like anything is changing there.

 

Better than us? I can get behind that. Premier? Nah.

 

This. Imagine if you've stuck with this organization for 14 years with PSL's It gets over a $1k per game w/ 4 tix. And for what?

 

Ya, that's rough. I love the Predators, but even if I were in the city, I don't think I could chain myself to them, financially, when you can ala carte games for often face value or way below. I saw that the Titans started making 3 or 4 game packs.. which is better, but still, to what end? How does it benefit the buyer whatsoever?

Plus the additional, and unnecessary PSL fee.. it stinks.
