Wait til after the combine. All those "experts" will have their mock boards changed so many ways.

I can smash my head against the wall with everything leading up to the draft.

Me watching him the last few years is what makes me think...check that makes me know he gna suck.

Here's mariotas career. Exciting rookie year...let down soph. Third year still no improvement. 4 yr he starts as back up.

    I think its the opposite.

Think he comes out week-1 struggles, games simply way faster than in the Pac-12, week-2 thru maybe week-10 he picks it up, then later as his carer goes on his coaches loosen the reigns, he's gets to the point where he's able to replicate what he did at Oregon reading defenses, making adjustments at the line, throwing to wide open guys because he sees the weak points in defenses.

I think what will happen is he'll try "his" stuff from the beginning, but defensive coordinators will bait him into some false looks and he'll make a bunch of mistakes. But like I said, over time as the game slows down he'll get going.

I dont see him doing that here tho under Whiz and with the less than stellar roster we have.

I'd take Hoyer as well, or Ponder. I'd even take Hasselbeck, maybe his play would be the same but at least he looks like a football player and not a horse's a$$. We're talking about a 3rd QB here.
