I would be scared with Beasley at 2.

How does he not have amazing tape? He lead the SEC in sacks over the last 2 years? He was the only player the O had to account for and still made the most plays. Fowler is known as the one who slacks on a few plays. Dupree how did him in just about every event in the combine as well.

I am just hoping we don't take Mariota honestly. I would rather get a FA QB and or draft later, and improve the front 7. He didn't impress me with his throws, and his personality is just blah. He got smoked by Winston, just like we all thought..and I am not a huge Winston fan either

Really love what I saw from Trae Waynes, just locked himself in as #1 CB. Could see him going as high as #6 to the Jets, low as #22 to Eagles. Really like him at #11 to the Vikings to pair w/ Rhodes.

Trusting Mayock and Davis actually. I really haven't seen a ton of tape on him, but clearly he does "flash". Both said he shows flashes but disappears more often than he should, and that he tends to get jacked up defending the run; plays very high apparently.

In fact, I could see us taking Waynes (if we trade back) and wait to take OLB in the 2nd, where players like Harold, Orchard, Odighizuwa, Kikaha, & Hunter will likely be available. Waynes is a legit CB1 and has potential to be one of the best, if not THE best corner in the league. All of Hortons defenses have had that true #1 CB (Cardinals: PP, Browns: Haden) and LeBeau had Ike Taylor for all those years. Having that lockdown press corner allows our safties to play more in the box and rush an additional rusher... which is KEY in both LeBeau/Hortons philosophy.

This is why I am really warming up to the idea of a Browns trade getting 12 and 19 sets us up to take Beasley or Dupree and Waynes, Collins, or Peters.

Now all you we have to do is convince the Browns to trade up, which is never going to happen LOL.

They have publically stated that they are going into this offseason looking for a starting QB. Manziel problems are worse than they thought. Their QB coach worked with Mariota and have publically stated how much they like Mariota. It could easily happen. We all know how much they like to move up and down.
