    Anyone else catch the Oscars last night? It was a 4 hour snoozefest. Even though I've seen most of the movies nominated this year, it was still a pretty weak class and didn't have a strong rooting interest except for Wes Anderson (lost) and Michael Keaton (lost).

    I think last night was the first time I ever even attempted to sit down and watch The Oscars... And I'm a huge fan of movies.

    It was sooo boring. I couldn't take it.

    I ended up recorded it and fast forwarding to the end.

    I didn't want Wes Anderson to win, honestly. Haven't seen Grand Budapest, and I'm not sure I will. I can only handle so much Anderson, and I feel like I've seen enough.

    My hipster friend exclusively watches Wes Anderson movies... IMO they're way overrated and only moderately enjoyable for one viewing.

    Gone Girl was good, but their "reveal" was a huge eye-rolling moment.

    Should have backed off on it a bit-- ended up not making much sense. Became pointless and just a "c'mon... really?" moment.

    I do njoy highlights of old Oscar ceremonies for the sake of nostalgia - but view any of these awards shows, including the RnR HoF show as mostly self-serving back patting. The only real value is in the performances..
