He wasn't getting beaten because of strength. Wide receivers were playing pattycakes with him as the ballcarrier went by.

Has anyone seen much of Shaq Thompson? Not sure if he is the SS for us.

He is a fluid athlete and a big play guy. Hard to project him as a safety, since he didn't really play there except the first part of his freshman year.

Shaq had a bad combine. Played off man at LB. Hard to transition to an instincts position (Safety) without the speed and experience. Best opportunity is weak side lb or make the transition to Rb like some teams scouted him as

I am willing to trade out for a kings ransom. I just hope it's really worth it, and we're still able to add some good players, not just average.

Rather have one GREAT player or 2 GOOD ones? We'll see what management prefers..

I'd only trade out if they are positive they can still get an edge rusher they love.

There's 4 pass rushers I love in this draft. Fowler, Bud Dupree, Beasley, & Orchard.

Ware and Kruger are light years apart! But basically you're saying if Fowler had more pass rush moves, he'd be better. Doesn't that work for every pass rusher in the draft? Why do you think he'll be the best pass rusher in the draft when he's far behind Beasely, Ray, Dupree in stats?

I'd break something if we took Fowler at #2 overall.

On what planet is Fowler better than Leonard Williams? Leonard Williams will be a dominant DE from day 1 without anyone needing to coach him up. Fowler will not be a dominant pass rushing OLB from day 1 as he WILL need a LOT of coaching up. That is NOT what you want with the 2nd overall pick!

I would also argue that Beasely and Shane Ray are better pass rushers than Fowler right now! But none of these guys are as good as LW right now.

Think about what you're saying. The Eagles basically are a playoff team without a QB. Give them Mariota and they are a playoff team or better. That means that 1st pick in 2016 will be near the bottom and not nearly as useful as say the Jets. The Browns are probably the team least suited to get the most out of Mariota but they are a pretty good team. The Jets would be my first choice for a team not well suited to exploit Mariota from year 1 and the least talented team. Therefore, we may get the highest 1st rnd pick by trading with them for 2016. Plus, they have higher picks this draft as well AND we get the #6 pick so we will get a stud pass rusher, LW, WR, or NT.
