Multiple people have confirmed that N. Suh has been in Nashville the last few days. He obviously cannot be meeting with the team, but interesting none the less. He is most likely here because his agent is based in Nashville. Wonder how he likes the city...

Would love if he hits open market. We are one of the few teams around that have the cap space to sign him. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Big Al. Signing him definately makes more flexible in the draft.

More than likely just meeting with his agent. There were extensive talks with his agent and the Lions during the combine.

There are pics on Twitter. He is in town.

His agent is based in Memphis I'm pretty sure.

and if you don't think agents and players are already communicating with teams you are crazy.

It might not be I'm the open and neither would admit to it but yea, they are talking.

I have heard this as well. I wonder if Ruston can talk to his agent in generalities like, "Mr. Agent, let's say for instance you had a very good, dominant defensive lineman that was going to be a free agent. What type of money would you think this player would want?"

I heard it on good authority from someone that Big Al met with the Redskins before the free agency period began. They were in a restaurant with him and overheard him say the Redskins offered him like $100 million. So it's not like it doesn't happen.

No way we would draft Williams if we signed Suh, but Suh, Casey, and Leonard Williams would be a dream line.

Suh has already stated his agent will pick the next team he plays for. (Hence whoever pays more)

If the Lions can't strike a long-term contract (likely won't) than there only option is to franchise tag him at 26mil. I don't see that happening with Stafford/Megatron having a combine 38.3 mil cap hit.

Could Suh just be in town to train? Lots of NFL players train around the Nashville area FWIW

Actually, I think the dream line in this case would be Suh, Casey and Shelton

I would put Suh and Casey at DE in the 3-4. They would destroy opposing OLs. Shelton in the middle to eat up space and shut down opposing run games.

    Dream scenario:

    Titans sign Suh.

Trade back to #6 with Jets (swap 1sts this year, pick up this year 2nd and 3rd and 2016 2nd)

    #6 Danny Shelton NT

    #33 PJ Williams CB

    #39 Eli Harold OLB

I'd love this, except at #33 give me a receiver. With a Suh, Shelton, Casey up front I could play CB and being successful.

Suh still scares me, think he could go Albert Haynesworth for his second team.

    I don't really want Suh.

This feels like Haynesworth all over again. Not that I think Suh will completely mail it in, but there are some similarities to bringing him here as there were with Fat Al going to the Redskins.

Suh has played his entire career in a 4-3. Would he be as effective in a 3-4? Is he worth risking $~50mil guaranteed if he's not going to be the same caliber player in the 3-4?

Too much risk involved here. If we signed him, I'd be excited, but I would have my reservations. And I don't like the thought of us having to spend that much money when we still need so much more help with the rest of the team... It'll more than likely be a $100mil contract with roughly $50mil guaranteed.

Adding a few solid FAs and drafting well needs to be our focus.
