Heard a funny story about that, apparently some husband of one of the women my wife works with was getting her lunches stolen, so after around the 5th time it happened the guy making his wifes lunch put some deadly hot peppers in the sandwich, the perp was screaming for help lol

There's a ton of washed up FAs, i'd still take a chance on them (for cheap). Every now and then those washed up players end up showing up to prove everybody wrong.

Larry Foote was an example of that last year. These guys can't be more than 1-yr stopgaps however. We have so many needs that we may need to fill holes with these guys, for example Troy Polamalu to play SS for a year, James Harrison to play OLB for a year, etc.

It's not the best way to rebuild, but we just simply don't have enough picks to fill all the needs we have (OLB x2, NT, SS, FS, CB, LG, RT, WR1, RB, TE2, ILB?, aaaand potentially QB). We basically need a new team haha

 

I agree, some "washed up" Steelers may want to play 1 more year with LeBeau and be a good cheap stop gap.
