2015 Draft Prospects

More I think about it.. 3 options at #2 should be Williams, QB or trade back. I really like Fowler/Beasley/Ray, but picking 1 of them at #2 would be disappointing. We have so many holes, and I don't think 1 of those 3 guys is a far superior prospect to the other 2.. I rather have ANY of them + extra picks than any 1 of them at #2.

 

What in the world are we going to do with Beasley? SS? He can't play LB here in a 3-4

 

There are just so many pass rushers in this class. I rather draft Williams and then draft either Orchard or Hau'oli Kikaha in the 3rd round.

 

He could as a 3rd down speed rusher. He's quick off the snap with a good first step, but you don't draft a guy at #2 to play on 3rd downs.

 

Really don't see how we could pass on Williams. Chances are Jags take him if we pass on him. That would be rough to deal with both J.J Watt, Clowney , and Williams every year.( If Clowney and Williams live up to there potentials) That isn't a reason to draft someone. Williams scheme diversity is a huge plus for us. He could play 3-4 end or 4-3. That is what is hard to pass on, along with his talent.

 

I would draft Williams in a heartbeat. It's really what I'm hoping for.

 

Why not? Beasley is a pure 3-4 edge rusher. He's 10 lbs heavier than Gregory and everyone seems to think Gregory is a 3-4 guy.

 

Yea he blew up for the combine, but he plays at like 230, much too small for LB here

 

Exactly. You go where the player is superior at a position with less depth. Take the pass rusher after, it is a very deep class this year. Not to mention, how many pass rushers have busted lately?!

 

I'd only be cool with him if we traded back 8-15 range
