The report is that he won't take less money and they are very noncommittal including placing him on the trading block. The notion is that nobody will trade for him at roughly 10 million per year for 3 years that is his current contract.

Honestly, how bad do they want to trade him? I hate giving up any draft picks because we need so much talent overhaul, but would they take a 4th or 5th rounder just to get rid of him (and of course we can absorb the cap space and work the deal where he restructures some).

Surprised after one year they're looking at that.

I'm not, he's a one trick pony. I'd rather have Torrey Smith over Wallace.

Wow. I guess I just expect more from a 60mil investment. You're right Alex, you're always right.

Why else would the Dolphins consider a restructure or possible cut of the WR?

He's interested in returning to the Steelers...surprised his hometown Saints aren't on his list..he'd be a nice weapon for Brees...Steelers have Brown and Bryant so not sure they need him??

Just to be clear... you are standing by the statement that Mike Wallace is a "one trick pony"?

    Yard Totals: 756 1257 1193 836 930 862
    TDs: 6 10 8 8 5 10
    Catches: 39 60 72 64 73 67

Those last two numbers in each category are with the Dolphins and Ryan Tannehill.

Yeah man... totally a one trick pony. Let's not dare question the personnel professionals for the Miami Dolphins, they always build a winner!

Thanks for the stat breakdown. Yes, I am sticking with the one trick pony statement.

Mike Wallace is a big play only WR who can not be counted on to be anything of consistency. Watch film and you'll see how much he disappears.

I don't need to watch film. The guy has produced very well for two franchises. I also don't mean to go particularly all in on my support of him, I just think he fits Whis system very well as a deep threat WR. Perhaps you should check out his film with Tannehill and how many times he would adjust to make a great catch from an underthrown ball. But anyway, obviously 6 years of great play is just one trick pony WR status in the NFL to you.

Also good luck in your continued hate of Nashville and its fanbase.

Jwill isn't the first to call him a one trick pony...I'd rather have Torrey Smith as well. No way Wallace comes to TN...maybe he will replace Bryant in Dallas?
