Suh is a professional unlike Haynesworth. He has made a lot of money already and still gives 110% every time he hits the field. I don't think he would have a problem playing DE or NT. He actually plays the 1-tech in a 4-3 which is the NT position of that defense. Instead of lining directly over the Center he lines up in the gap of center and guard but essentially he is still responsible for taking on double teams. I just feel he could be more disruptive though as a DE. Would be cool to sign him and then sign Ngata if Baltimore released him. That would be a heck of a Dline.

Suh is the type of game changer we need and could get. Houston is going to get tagged by kc. I would pay tons of money to get a guy like suh. Our d would instantly be better.

Suh is not going to sign with Tennessee unless they throw some outrageous contract at him that will put them in cap hell in a few years. That's IF the money was even enough to lure him.

Fortunately for us we CAN throw a lot of money at him and still not go into salary cap hell. We can front load most of the money over the first 3-4 years while we are not paying any elite player contracts. By the time the rookies roll around for renewals, if any of them turn out elite then we can afford to resign them since the cap number will be lower over the last couple of years of his contract or we can restructure or cut if necessary.

The only issue is drawing him here. Any tax benefits are negated by Jacksonville also since they don't have a state income tax. We need Suh here if we want any chance of being relevant in our own division. Texans have a stout D with Watt and potentially Clowney to match Indy. Indy will find a RB to add to their O and probably sign McPhee to add to their pass rush on D. Jacksonville will have Blackmon coming back, will draft one of the top RBs, and will probably go hard after and sign Julius Thomas to add to a potential up and coming O and give Bortles all the weapons to succeed. Their D is already decent. If not and they go and sign Suh and Hardy then we will have to face them for the next several years. If that happens then we will be forced to take Mariota to run for his life during those games against Jacksonville and Houston and Indy because Mett will get broken in those games. We are really looking at possibly being cellar dwellers in our division for several years as every team in our division has way more talent than we do.

Do not kid ourselves and think that a couple of rookies on D will come in and make this D turn a 180. Most of them do not have the requisite pass rushing skills and cannot be coached until camps which many coaches have complained about as not having enough time to work with rookies.
