You guys have literally learned nothing from the Titans' 2013 spending spree. Nothing.

    Nope

as if there was much to learn...

And you act as if a team can restock the shelves with just 7 draft picks...

exactly. I look at it this way...We can watch the 3rd strike go past us, or we can swing and miss. I would rather go down swinging. Eventually, we are going to land someone that backs up the contract, and like Brave said, 7 rookies are fixing this team.

You're right. That's exactly what I've been arguing. You read what I wrote and figured it out exactly right, like always.

I love Dante Fowler, but taking a WR at #2 would likely be my choice. I just think Kevin White or Amari Cooper are way more talented than any WR that will be available at #33 (lets be honest, DGB won't be available at #33). I'd rather take White/Cooper at #2 and then trade back at #33 (for a mid-2nd and additional 3rd)... we would still be able to grab one of Harold, Kikaha, Odighizuwa, Hunter, or Orchard and could find a RT/LG or CB with the additional picks + our 3rd.

And you understand maybe 5% of it.

Let me spell out my argument for you. I'll make it 4th-grade level.

    - The Titans should search for FA bargains instead of big-ticket guys
    - The Titans should focus most of their attention on stockpiling draft picks
    - When a draft pick hits, the Titans should prioritize keeping that player over replacing him in free agency

Yeah, it sucks.. because I really like the guy. Seems like a good dude off the field, does alot for the community, is probably our best known player... but just can't tackle or cover.

Yeah, I wouldn't be upset if they went for that. They seriously need some consistency at the position for Mett or whoever is behind center. Granted, I know that the OL and team hasn't been loaded with talent, but lets be honest, our receivers haven't been amazing. Wright is likely a number 2 or 3 slot guy on most teams. Hunter is soft both inside and out, and Washington is aging and out of town soon. They better upgrade and fast. We need guys that can run clean routes, and not bounce balls off of their chests.

NO, Titans need to spend their money, have no choice actually, there is now a cap floor of 89% that everyone must hit
