Titans have additional $11M in cap room

    Exactly. Cooper or White give Mett an ELITE target, somebody that defenses have to gameplan for (hopefully). This will help Wright/Walker, who are both above average at their position (considering Wright a slot WR) see more 1v1 matchups. Although Hunter has been a disappointment, I'd still love for him to get 1v1 matchups on the outside. Don't forget that Wright is also a free agent next year. WR is a bigger need than most realize.

    While on defense (with the addition of Suh/McCourty) still wouldn't have an elite pass rusher, but Suh is going to help everybody on that defense. Adding some cheap FAs like James Harrison and a 2nd round OLB would provide enough pass-rusher.. hopefully.

    2: Cooper/White
    33: OLB
    66: OG or RT (pickup 1 in FA, 1 in draft)

    I get what you're saying TTF. The best way to build up a team is via the draft, but we have literally ZERO playmakers and have SO much money to spend. It's pretty unlikely we'll find "bargain" free agents that are playmakers. Teams are going to be spending this off-season, and most bargain free agents go to contenders.

    We could still sign Suh, McCourty, and Iupati (for example) and easily afford keeping Wright next year and any of our draft picks that are "hits".

    We need playmakers in free agency and the draft.

    no no we cant sign free agents, we had a bad experience 2 years ago, signing FA's is the devil!!!! :whoop:

    Although you're being a smartass, history has shown teams get burned in free agency. Majority of "big name" free agents who switch teams rarely live up to their contracts.

    With that being said, i'll take my chances at getting burned.

    Exactly. At this point guys, it's FAR beyond the worry of "Getting Burned". It's about saving the franchise and providing a spark and fans to continue supporting this team. They don't have a choice here, make a splash, or **** is hitting the fan. IMO

    I know the history of FA's, but Id rather take a chance than watch our team squirm around like a bunch of sophomores playing JV again
    TTF over here sounding like the Cubs owner in 1975 talking about he can't afford 900k in saleries

    If they don't provide a spark, the fans are going to be non-existent and soon this team won't even be in TN anymore.

    My thoughts exactly. It's time to stop screwing around and have the league and fans take them seriously. Whenever I meet a Titans fan, you know they are genuine and likely a good person. Why you ask? Because why the hell would anyone want to be a fan at this point or for the past 10 years for that matter. lol
