I'm not Chip Kelly, but when Shady struggled, their passing game had problems. Maybe that was due to the OL being hurt...didn't watch enough of them to know. But Oregon runs the ball a lot and then kills you with the QB and big play WR's. He's down an OL, his starting RB and his top 2 WR's (Jackson and Maclin).

They will need to be very active in free agency to fill most of their holes in order to trade the farm for Mariota. And unlike others, I don't want 3 first rnd picks because the eagles picks in the following 2 drafts may not be towards the ends of the rounds which makes them even LESS valueable.

How about we take 1, 2, 3 this year, 1 and 2 next year and a 1 the following season...plus Foles or Alonso!

I've very concerned Webster will wreck what could be one of the greatest trades in NFL history!!! Dallas became a powerhouse due to the Herschel Walker trade and good drafting!!!

Chip is coming up for Mariota!

I believe it now. They are gonna knock free agency out of the park and will trade the farm for MARIOTA.

I actually like Chip Kelly, dude has style and massive balls.

I'll take 1st-5th picks this year, 1st and 2nd in 2016, 2nd and 3rd in 2017 and Foles. It sets us up to build through draft and we will need to be patient but seeing as Whiz is here for the next 4 seasons, it seems to fit in.

    I'm all for it.

That's significantly undervalue for the trade considering I'd expect Mariota to light it up for them.

I don't understand why people want Foles. He has a combined 1 season of quality starts in the "Chip Kelly" system. That's the same system that made Mark Sanchez not look terrible and now people want to value Foles as a second round draft pick? In addition, if we received future 1st rounders from the Eagles those are going to be late round picks.

The only team outside the top 10 that I think the Titans should even consider trading with is the Browns and that's contingent on getting both their 1st rounders this year, in addition to other picks.

I think he's more of a throw-in than anything. Competition for Mettenberger.

If an Eagles trade happens, it will be 95% about the draft picks.

Why do people think picking in the bottom half of the draft is such a bad thing? There is a reason why the same teams are picking in the top half and bottom half year after year. If we can land 3 1st round picks from the Eagles + more I'm down for it.

  7. With it appearing Chip Kelly is willing to mortgage the future of the Eagles for Marcus Mariota I would be willing to listen to offers but I wouldn't accept any low ball offers because Leonard Williams is a special talent. In order to pass on the big cat I would want proven commodities. Here is my idea for a possible trade down for #2.

Titans receive: 2015 Eagles 1st round pick, Eagles 2nd Round pick, Eagles 3rd round pick DE Fletcher Cox, 2016 Eagles 1st round pick, Eagles 2nd round pick, 2017 Eagles 1st round pick.

Eagles receive: 2015 #2 overall pick Marcus Mariota

Then in free agency I say the Titans sign:
    OLB Jason Worilds
NT Dan Williams or just stay with Sammie Hill
    S Devin McCourty
and they cut S Michael Griffin

Then in the draft Titans draft in the first 3 rounds:
    #20- S Landon Collins Alabama
#33- CB P.J. Williams Florida St.
    # 52- OLB Nate Orchard Utah
    #66- RB Tevin Coleman Indiana
#84- OT Donovan Smith Penn St.

I believe Mettenberger deserves a chance to prove himself a capable starter but with the extra acquired picks with this trade I believe if Zach doesn't work out the Titans have the ammo to move up and select Christian Hackenberg in 2016 or Brad Kaaya in 2017.

So what do you all think?

I am cheaper then most around here, I would deal for less than that. Fletcher Cox should be viewed as a first round pick. Man would I love to get him in a deal, but I'm sure it's unlikely.

    I would do:
    Fletcher Cox
    Nick Foles
    2015 -1st,2nd,3rd,4th
    2016-1st and 2nd

Eagles won't trade Cox, for starters.

  10. I thought the same thing with Shady McCoy as you did with Fletcher Cox. I thought he was untouchable too, but with Chip I don't think anyone is off limits. I also think with clearing cap space the eagles may be preparing a run for Ndamukong Suh. Besides just imagine a line of Jurrell Casey, Fletcher Cox, and Big Dan Williams.
