Jonathan Massaquoi

Well this certainly opens up the draft.

 

Sarcasm? Hopefully..?

 

I really think this is a good signing. If it doesn't pan out, we aren't any worse.

...but he was active 2 seasons ago and he is young and has potential. He wasn't bad last year. If we stand him up next to an impactful player, he can get 6 or 8 or 10 sacks.

All guys we picked up over the course of 2014-2015. That is our OLB depth, other than Massaquoi who deserves an actual depth chart spot? They all are pretty much practice squad guys.

Wimbley/Groves can go, Morgan is probably on the way out. Definately need to pick up some proven players via free agent and draft a few guys.

 

We'll sign a dude and draft 2 more.

 

I can see Massaquoi and Groves battling for a roster spot as our 4th-5th OLB.

 

I still think Moch has some potential. Good speed.

 

1 Sack in 4 years is very discouraging. There is a reason he hasn't seen the field in his career.

 

This is the kind of player the Titans should take a shot on. I like this. He's a knucklehead who has flashed real talent. Maybe he wakes up. If not, very little cost to just cut him.

I'll take signing Massaquoi over signing a veteran bum any day. Probably won't work out, but at least there's some actual upside.

 

What? He was one of the better Falcon players last year. If he doesn't make this team then we must have had a hell of an offseason adding LB's. He was basically their Akeem Ayers last year.
