Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

Hardy is a much bigger risk than Marshall. We need to at least be consistent with our decisions.

I don't want Hardy... Does he even fit a 3-4? Idk...

He's a double risk due to the PR hit and he hasn't played in a 3-4.

I don't believe any of these dumb rumors though. We'll probably make Douglas the highest paid WR in the league and extend Greene and Griffin.

 

I'm pretty sure those bleacher report guys filmed that out of their basements.

Yep. They're probably right though. I expect the Titans will be active too.

 

It'd be nice if this were true. We need some vets that have won in this league to pave the way for our young core. As it stands we need to find starters at RT, LOLB (unless we bring back Morgan), ROLB, SS, WR. We Must address these positions with either big name free agents or in the first 3 rounds of the draft.

We also could use serious upgrades at CB, NT, DE. while blidi wreh, ripoti/mike martin, and Sammie hill COULD be serviceable, having all these guys as starters is a recipe for mediocrity.

Oh and not to mention the position that matters most. We won't win with mett. I don't care how good the rest of our team is. He doesn't have it in him. I won't be mad at the titans for giving him a chance especially since there are so many question marks on all the Qbs on the market and in the draft, but we need to atleast bring in someone to compete with his garbage ass.

I would love to do something like trade the 2nd pick with the Eagles. Get foles, their first and 2nd. while I do have a huge problem with passing on LW and the top notch pass rushers, I also feel like we have so many needs that this trade would be best. I also think foles could thrive in this offense.

bring in worilds/orakpo/hardy or resign morgan

bring in some steelers for discount (polomalu would be awesome)

draft a starting RT with one of our first 3 picks,

draft a wr since the FA class sucks (I like Coates or green Beckham in the 3rd).

bring in another defensive stud. Another one of the OLBs, Wilfork, Dan Williams, Revis. pay a stud since we have the money.

Then spend the 20th pick, and other 2nd round pick on either OLB, DE, NT, or CB(whatever we didn't address in free agency.

LG: Levitre

RT: pick 52

ROLB: pick 20 (maybe gregory falls)

this is just my dream scenario with as much rationale as I could use. I think that's a solid team that could actually compete with the Colts and texans.

 

with that scenario we could even have enough cap space to sign another starting OLB and use that first pick to get a Gurley or Melvin gordon. lol. I shouldn't even tease myself with the thought of that though.

 

Unless the Eagles are giving up Fletcher Cox and Jordan Matthews as part of a deal, i aint trading wit em.

 

I was really just talking about this year. I would suppose they would give us their next year's 1st too. you wouldn't take foles, the 20th and 52nd and their first next year for the 2nd? I think I would.

 

Now that you mention it, screw it, if chip wants his guy bad enough he can give us Matthews, fletcher, and foles along with the 20th pick lol. Better? I really don't have a problem taking LW if it comes down to it.

 

With that scenario drafting a RB would have to be a priority, going in with Sankey and McClusterF@ck would scare me.

 

I honestly think Cox will be on the table to move up. Kelly just needs his qb to run his system every other position is interchangable. The more i think about it the only way im moving back to twenty is if fletcher cox is part of the deal.
