Devin McCourty Returning to NE

When asked on His and Hers where he would be playing if he didn't r e sign with NE, the first words out of his mouth were "With my brother in Tennessee. Tennessee was heavily involved." Then went on to list a few teams.

Can't say they didn't try.

 

Great so when Jason gets cut or his contract is up, he will go to NE.

 

That sucks. He also said that he was calling Belicheck to tell him he was going else where and then they upped their offer at the last minute. Guess he was talking about us. That hurts a bit more. Thanks for posting that...

 

It's easy to say that after the fact. It's all speculation now.

Let's move on now from the DMAC let down.

It was always a pipe dream by the fans.

 

It's sad when our pipe dreams are cutting our own players.

 

Nice to know the FO was trying to make a move. Didn't expect they actually would TBH, thought no chance he left NE. Clearly he didn't, but nice to know we tried.

Guess it's only a matter of time before Jason heads to NE.

 

It just shows how much of a mess we are in.

People finally realize how bad our roster is.

Just like everyone wanted to be done with Morgan because of a few million dollars. Now that hes likely gone, what position will we be in if we cant replace him in the FA? Thats right..... another hole.


People need to get their head out of the sand. Were going to have to overpay ANYONE to stay here. This isnt going to be fixed this off season and I dont expect us to be in real consideration for anything, other than another hopeful off season next year.

We need RW to have a good draft this year.
