I don't think that's reaching considering Hunter is soft and can't catch or run routes, Washington is gone, and Kendall Wright can't stay on his feet and is 5'9 and should be in the slot...I think I am pretty damn accurate honestly. I bet if you pull his stats up when starting, he outplayed any of our WR's.

Alot had to do with teams keying on Jones/White when he was in.

He's no better than Nate, imo.

And by that logic, some fail a lot more than others.

He also had Matt Ryan throwing him the ball instead of whitehurst/mettenberg...not really a fair comparison.

No questioning that...but how do you argue his production when they were both out of the lineup. IMO he is younger and better than Nate. I like Nate and his personality, but he is long gone. I am not saying he is on the level of Jones/White or other #1 receivers, but he would EASILY be a #2 on this team as it stands and quite possibly a #1.

True, but Ryan isn't on a Tom Brady level, and their O line was Swiss cheese also.

People need to realize that free agency is not the draft. Webster can not just pick a player and say, you're going to be a Tennesssee Titan. McCourty was the main difference maker we could have signed and it has been reported the Titans did all they could do to get him, including offering more money. Any of you that think that spending big in free agency is the way to build a team, go back and look at our cap hell days when Billy Volek was starting. This years draft is crucial in finding a QB and transistioning to the 3-4. Wait until after it to pass judgement on Webster.

Im actually pretty certain 99% of this forums members know the draft is where you build a team from, but also realize this team cant be fixed with 7 draft picks. Its going to take that plus some activity in free agency, and even then we're still likely a piece or two shy of fielding a true contender.

    Look at all we need.

    1.) Physical RB
    2.) True No. WR
    3.) Maybe a QB
    4.) RT
    5.) LG
    6.) FS
7.) SS (Stafford could develop into a starting SS, but wouldn't count on it)
8.) CB (Huff could maybe be a #2 as could BWW)
    9.) OLB
    10.) NT

Without free agency filling a few holes we can't get NFL quality players out of 7 rounds of the draft. At best we walk away with 4 NFL players this draft.

Tyvon Branch to Chiefs with a 1 year deal. Not sure why the Titans weren't interested in him, especially at that cost.

Free agency hasn't even began yet. Wait and see who they get. You may be surprisingly happy.
