Exactly. Webster talked about which pos are weak in the draft, and maybe filling some of those holes via FA. He's done that 100% today with SS.

 

NFL network has Searcy signing with the jags. Listed that way on TV 1 minute ago.

A little late to the party - but, I think we overpaid Searcy, but he can play into his contract. He still has a ton of potential, has only started 23 NFL games, and is only 26. The strong-safety position in LeBeaus defense is crucial, he could shine here.

 

4 years at 24 mill for a guy with 5 career interceptions over four seasons, overpaid you say, ya think? I smell another bust.

 

If youre expecting him to be another Troy Polumalu sure, but I dont think we'll put that same emphasis on our SS that Pittsburgh did, Troy Polumalu is a special player, you're not going to just recreate that by signing a player who's former team allowed to walk for $24M

 

Way over paid, he's not a week one player and def not a day one. Didn't even mention TP

 

We maybe did overpay, so what.. Not a day-1 starter? Please explain....
