Just some bitter folks who'll never taste the success that Jake had. Despite all of his injuries, he was still one of the top 50 QB's in the country for a while. Less than 2% of all college football players ever make it to the NFL.

They're upset that he was better in his line of work than they are in theirs.

    And Unknown is AWESOME!!

Hey, if you want a Locker jersey I've got one I'll sell you cheap. It's barely used, much like his own jerseys.

It is one thing to land a good job it is another thing to perform well at the job you just landed. That is like saying the president is better at his job than some steel mill worker because only few people ever get to be president. Just because you got there doesn't mean you can't suck. Jake sucked. It set the franchise back. People are gonna be bitter when they spend the money they work for on a product that is not up to par.

He was a bust as a pick, but I wish him the best. Hoped he would pan out, but at least the Titans won't have to face him going somewhere else, coming in off the bench and winning a Lombardi Trophy. That would be the worst.

Class act, but not NFL material. We pressed so hard to get production out of him with no return. Disastrous pick and disappointing ending, but hey, good for him.

I'm bitter because he didn't have success. I was rooting for him in a big way. Unfortunately he was not a good pick for the titans, carrying on the long tradition of bad picks for the franchise.

He was good enough to make it to the NFL, not good enough for a starting job, long term. Very few QBs drafted are, but he wasn't. I'd root for him to succeed over most others, because of his work ethic and attitude, but in the end, it's more about production than anything else.

For all I know, you could be Jake or a family member of his, but it is unfortunately true. Good thing is, he's pretty much already made more than most of us will in a lifetime, at age 26. So no weeping needs to happen for him. He can try baseball with no fear of failing, because he's already a millionaire 20 or more times over.

I'd like f*cking apology from Jake Locker. Retiring after giving us fans so little. Nice guy or not this franchise invested in him and he didn't give us much for money he is retiring on.

I mean... the guy took a beating. Surgeries. Tried to play hurt. Let's not lump him in with the JaMarcus Russells of the world.

He couldn't cut it as an NFLer and he has accepted it. I wish him the best.

I like Jake as a person, he seems like a great guy. I hate him as a football player because he sucks at it and he set us back by a mile. Between him and VY, not to mention a bunch of other missteps, you have a train wreck of a football franchise. I just wish he had realized after college that he wasn't meant to be a football player!
