Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

Dead money is more than just dead money, i'd rather cut bait and move on than have guys getting paid who submarine a team. There's no sense a guy like Griffin is still on this team and even mentioned as being a leader. That's laughable.

Pay your fine and move on, that's what I say..

Hey long long time lurker over here, decided to finally make an account tonight...underwhelmed doesn't do how I feel justice after day 1. But almost all the guys I thought we had a realistic shot at are still out there...really funny how spot on Gunny's survival guide ended up being lol

Totally agree. Dead money, schmead money. If a guy is an overpaid scrub then he doesn't need to be on the team, plain and simple. And at the very least he damn sure doesn't need to be handed a starting gig year after year just because of the size of his contract.

Levitre should be cut outright and Griffin should've never even got a second contract. Just admit you screwed the pooch and move forward in trying to actually improve the team.

 

....and they'll both be starters for us next year. :-(

 

Jason Worilds just announced he's retiring.

 

I'm pretty sure all our lineman have looked bad the past couple seasons. Its impossible to block defenders for 12 seconds. get the qb to get rid of the ball and it changes everyone's outlook.

 

I want Derrick Morgan too but jeez that first page made him sound like he can walk on water. Free Agency is fun.

btw I really hate Atlanta. They have the HC that I wanted last year and now they're going after our guy and they even have a pun for a hashtag and ugh
