Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

We've been holding our breath. Coming off a miserable 2-14 season, the Titans appear set to follow their free-agent recipe of the past two seasons, going hard after spare-part veterans. In addition to pursuing Douglas, they're chasing Anthony Fasano, and were in the mix for Cary Williams. To put it bluntly, the Titans need a new voice at general manager.

I am so disappointed man. At least BS me and overpay for some names to make me feel like there is SOME kind of effort to turn it around. I can't believe what I am seeing. They better figure out a QB...CBJ has no business being a backup and Mett as of right now isn't the answer. God this organization is so frustrating. It's pure comedy at this point.

 

Exactly. Every offseason we hear the blind homers say things like "Well, we didn't sign the real big names but we all know you don't build championships through free agency"....... "We picked up some solid guys who, even though they were unspectacular on their previous team, will (for some inexplicable reason) flourish here"..... "We got nowhere to go but up"...... and my personal favorite "(insert previous year's terrible turd of a draft pick here) is REALLY gonna step up his game this season! He's gonna be legit this year!"

We watch pretty much the same movie play out year after year. And with each passing season more and more fans are going to get wise to it.

 

Man, I'm to the point were I'm just numb to it.

Numb is the best way to describe it...there's been no move I can point to and say "we're trying to improve here"...we need a face of the franchise so bad I may get on the Mariota bandwagon just so we'd have something for national media attention

hes friends with griffin so that helps, plus we have $ to spend, if we do give him a good amount i hope they add in injury clauses and ways to get out if he gets hurt again
