Rumor Titans to be aggressive in free agency

It's all about signing long term deals, not 1 year deals. We would have to give him a boat load of money if we were to give him an 1 year deal.

Players get pissed over getting the franchise tag at the maximum dollar. There's no way a player would sign a contract for one year if he has the opportunity to get a long term deal.

 

Can someone tell me why we haven't signed James Harrison immediately....I don't expect him to be a dominant force but he knows Lebeau's D, could be a mentor, and came out saying he'd love to be here. Value signing for rotational depth

 

Scott Chandler was just released by the Bills. He would be a good pickup. Good upgrade to Stevens.

Plenty of talent still available. Some of the best FA deals come after the storm. This is where you find value, depth and bargain deals. Hope we find some gems. I'm not worried about us signing guys, we're going to do plenty that still. I'm worried about them being the right guys.

I just read the Cardinals don't have a visit set up with Orakpo, they might if he leaves Nashville .
