Ordinarily is agree. But Sankey is nothing special. Gurley and Gordon are true feature backs. Id do it.

Gurley is injury prone. I wouldn't take Gordon that early either. Isn't great pass pro or receiving.

Have a lot bigger needs. Another rb would be luxary.

Whiz does not appear to want to run the ball so why draft one?

I would love Gurley or Gordon at #33. Or, Telvin Colemen in the 3rd or David Cobb in the 4th. Hoping one of these backs fall to us.

Im all about Gordon... But that could be because I attend The Univerisity of Wisconsin. Lol

I still cant believe we took Sankey last year. As far as second rounders go I think he was a wasted pick.

I'd honestly love either of them, at 33 they'd both be steals. Both have their pros and cons, but ultimately still elite runners. We can build an offense around one of those guys, would really take the pressure off the QB.

Sankey was projected in the 2nd-3rd, so it wasn't a complete surprise. I'm just shocked we didn't grab Hyde or Hill instead? Also, why didn't Whiz give Sankey more chances, it's not like any other back was doing any better. Sankey was behind an awful offensive line, 3 different QBs, and injuries all over at WR. I still think he can be a successful RB. Not a complete waste, yet.

Yeah, if Gurley or gordon fall to the 2nd, it'd be hard to not entertain the idea. They are both so much more talented than sankey.

Their elite runners, both have potential to be the best back in the league. Adding them to our roster would be game changing. We could build our offense around them, would tremendously help Mettenberger.

Not sure about the helping mettenberg thing. ..usually the qb has more effect on the RBs production than the RB has on the Qbs. Either way, i could easily see myself getting really pissed off if either one of them are there and we pass on them.

however, getting a 2nd round RT and locking up that oline for years helps all our rbs and our qb.
