JCBRAVE: Titans should sign Red Bryant! He will improve the defense.

Me: I would rather improve the defense with young players who will be on the team for several years.

JCBRAVE: What?! You don't want to improve the defense??

Me: But I just said...

JCBRAVE: Signing Red Bryant is the only possible way to improve the defense!

Now we're getting somewhere. You're right to demand that I offer some more explanation in this case.

Some linemen I prefer to Bryant: Henry Melton (28), Nick Fairley (27), Terrance Knighton (28).

None of the guys gets me very excited, but they are young enough that I would be willing to commit to them on a longer deal than with Bryant, whom I believe to be close to done.
