    If we land orakpo and resign morgan, both which are looking doubtful, I bet were going to draft mariota like morons to try and get some life back into this organization. He will fail to learn and fit in whiz's style of offense, GM/COACH will be fired after 2 years and our defense will continue to blow. Calling it now.

    Do you really think, even if he doesn't keep the weight on, the extra 15-20 pounds makes that much of a difference between Beasley at 235 and someone like Von Miller at 250? He was 246 at the combine and if the extra weight was that important, I'm sure the NFL training staff would see to it he keeps it on.

    This "Mariota won't work in Whiz's offense" argument is so ridiculous.

    Whiz doesn't run that brain breaking Gruden style offense.

    He is quick read, quick pass, run with play action down the field.

    Marcus Mariota is extremely smart by all accounts and already ran a quick read offense at Oregon despite it being based out of the spread.

    Mariota called his own plays and audibles at Oregon. It wasn't just looking at pictures on a poster and running a play.

    I referenced Kam Wimbley earlier, thats what I see happening. He'll report at 246 or so then week by week lose his size to the point he can't dance with the 300+lb Tackles.

    When a Tackle gets his hands on 230lbs its over for the other guy. in some cases they have about 100lbs on you

    Oregon Pro Day is at 3 central

    Whiz and Web and apparently a large group of other personnel and scouts are there according to reports coming off Twitter.

    They are serious about this kid.

    Philly is out, maybe baiting the Jets or Browns.

    No... It isn't a ridiculous assumption.

    I'm not saying Mariota couldn't run the offense. I'm saying that there are plenty of plays that should be added in specifically for his skill set.

    And Whiz can't be a stubborn ass and try to keep him in the pocket at all times. This is what everyone is worried about.
