I'm not putting words in your mouth.

Let's cut to the chase: Webster has had enough time/opportunity in his various roles, for me to consider his performance unacceptable. Based off results, not his effort. I've bought in to this team for 15 years and been paying for a crap product for the past 8 out of the past 9 years. If I'm not paying, then maybe "trying" is reasonable justification for giving Webster more time- for me anyway. When I totally give up on this franchise, you'll quit hearing me ***** so much. And honestly this is the year that I quit throwing good money after bad.

Once I quit paying, I'm sure titans FO "trying" will be good enough for me as well.

What are you basing this "top 10 not top 5" off of? If you go back and look at the free agent deals he was definitely in top 5 as far as contracts go.

Talking about best available free agents in 2013 - he was in the top ten but I was talking about the cream of the crop top 5 best available free agents.

Owners don't care, they get it all evenly. This franchise was good 4-5 years ago and will probably be good in the next 4-5 years. If teams like Jacksonville, Oakland, Cleveland etc can stay around and still make a ton of money, so can we. Nothing will change. Fan support matters, just not as much as we think it does

I understand the confusion. Webster's body of work extends beyond this recent FA period. What he's done thus far exemplifies the body of his work. Uncertain effort but definite lack of results.

I suggest we sign Perrish Cox, then bring in Chris Culliver. Let them battle it out for the #1 cornerback spot and the other one gets the nickel.

You can never have enough good, young, quality corners (especially nowadays).
