Orakpo signs with Titans

We screwed up passing on Hill and Hyde, I said it then, I say it now. That said, they MUST add a one cut type pounder back. We are screwed if they don't. We have to gain possession time and continue drives.

 

Wanted Hyde the whole time...sigh

 

I was big on Hill. I liked his aggressive running and size considering we had a revolving door of an OL. Naturally, we passed on him, and the dude ran ALL OVER teams. Meanwhile, our #2 pick doesn't get carries until half way through the season losing touches to friggin' Leon Washington/Greene/DMC. I would honestly cut both Greene and DMC and draft a back and add one in free agency if I am Ruston Webster.

 

Fortunately for you, you are not Ruston Webster.

Titans re-signed DE/OLB Derrick Morgan to a four-year, $27 million contract with $10.5 million guaranteed.
Tennessee was expected to pursue an edge rusher in the draft, but that won't be necessary with Morgan and Brian Orakpo in the fold. Tampa Bay, Dallas, and Atlanta were also in the hunt for Morgan. Morgan's 6.5 sacks last season tied a career high. He also played stout run defense. Having just turned 26 years old, Morgan was smartly made a priority to re-sign by the Titans. Tennessee now has some intriguing pieces in the front seven, with Jurell Casey on the line, Orakpo and Morgan off the edge, and promising sophomore Avery Williamson at inside linebacker.

Agree, unless they have been or will get cut, in which case I won't listen to them anyway.
