We need a RT BAD,,,,, currently we have none capable of starting IMO. I do not think Barksdale will be a pro bowler, but he may be the only option we have unless we take another oline high in the draft. I would rather not do that AGAIN. However, we have to fix this line before the offense will be able to do anything.

We need a power back as well. Watching the running games that are actually making a difference in this league they all seem to have that guy that bulldozes through the tackles. We have not had that for a VERY long time. Greene MUST go. Maybe give Andrews a shot, but we need to have some one else ready to compete this year. Our run game has got to be real this year. We had NONE last year.

Signed 5 players? Most of them are players who were here last year or equal replacement parts. Orakpo is currently the ONLY upgrade and he's been injured 2 of the last 3 years and was not exactly lighting it up last year in 7 games before being hurt. Meanwhile, the Jets added the best cb in the game, another very good vet cb to start opposite, a young cb to play the slot and develop, and a pretty solid S. they also added a OG they needed and spent a 5th rnd pick on a #1 WR. They spent a 7th rnd pick in the 2016 draft to get Fitzmagic. The Jets have been aggressive. We have not.

Many teams have been able to turn it around in a single off-season but we won't be one of them if we improve the roster 1 guy per off-season. it was funny, someone was saying you don't rebuild with free agency. Casserly was saying this morning that if you're like the Jags or Raiders, you need free agency to add a lot of talent and more with the draft. once you get to a certain level of talent, you pick and choose your spots with free agency like the Packers adding Peppers.

As I said before, Webster is approaching free agency like we are a playoff team with little cap when the opposite is true. And some obvious stuff is falling by the way side. How has he not even called james Harrison's agent and signed him already. The guy knows the system and had more sacks per game played than anyone on our roster and we'd be signing him for depth (and to mitigate the risk of Orakpo getting injured). Cheap vet production at a position of need when we have a ton of cap is a no-brainer!

We've been so awful chitty at the GM position for the past 8 years that even a well below average GM performance is viewed by many here as solid.

I'll do it for half the $...get us deep into the play-offs by 2016-17 :) possibly a :trophy:

Searcy and Douglas were good signings. I know Douglas isn't a Randy Moss or Julio Jones type WR but he seems like a class act and I'm sure he's learned something while in ATL playing with JJ, RW and MR.

That's the problem. We were the first team to take a RB off the board last year and we are still in no position to be uppity about RB talent.

Is there any way to sign a GM in free agency? That'd be about the biggest upgrade we could get.

Revis and Cromartie both wanted to go back to the Jets....no matter how much we paid them they weren't coming to TN. Why is it so hard for you to understand that.

Sure we could have had Marshall, but again you are giving up a pick and paying top dollar to a guy coming off multiple injuries and who has been a locker room cancer throughout his career. This is in a year where the draft is very deep at WR and when you don't have a franchise QB.

The only guy that the Jets got that I think we should have gone after was Buster Skrine. I think that kid is a player.

Webster obviously made OLBer a top priority and he landed 2 of the better ones on the market.

I want to know who you would have liked Webster to sign at OLBer???

Love how people here hated Fitzpatrick as our QB but now they are using him in their argument of how teams are "being aggressive".

I agree...we also have drafted a WR in the 1st and 2nd rnds recently and still are looking for a true #1 WR. Our inability to find playmakers in the draft is what is killing us....or our inability to coach them up...chicken or egg???
