Rumor Sam Bradford starting qb for Titans

    Fine Andy Kelly... You give us Bradford, Mychal Kendricks, and your first round picks in 2015 and 2016. That would get us to answer the phone, then hang up on you chubby kid.

    Sure but isn't the offense being built around a "Rivers, Warner, Big Ben" type guy anyway. We don't have one of them but Whiz will still build around his ideal style QB. We have a Mett who isn't proven yet.

    My point is regardless of if we do or don't get Bradford, we are going to build an offense for a guy like him anyway.

    This won't happen, the $13M cap hit for Bradford is enough to almost completely kill this on it's own, add in the risks and extra cap space needed for the extra picks we'd be getting as well it's pretty much impossible for this idiotic trade to happen, we couldn't afford it if we wanted to.

    I see your point but the worst thing that could happen is Bradford to be named the #1, go through camp working with the #1s, then go down with Mett being tossed in there.

    In turn, if they believe Mett is the guy, you give him those snaps and hope he builds on his successes from last season. This makes Bradford the #2 which, IMO, makes no sense to include him in a trade.

    I hear you, but Mariota himself added some fuel to this by his comments a couple of days ago, basically saying he would not be surprised if the Eagles still came after him.

    There is probably nothing to that beyond Mariota's youthful pining to be back with Kelly (which in itself is a bit troubling to me), but it is stuff like this that keeps that rumor mill churning here.
