If we draft Leonard Williams, I sure hope we find a better moniker than "LW" because every time my old skool ass sees that I think Lendale White. ::shudder::

LW proved at the combine that he isn't near as explosive as Watt. He will be a bust if you are expecting his impact to be Watt-like.

well there are some people here who must be new to the nfl. and they are not familiar qith firat round busts.they seem to think that if a guy looks good in college and has a good com ine he is destined to be a star.

The first interception only happened because he got blown up off the line.

    EDIT

Rewatched it. It is probably more likely he saw it was a screen. Rest still stands though.

The majority of plays in that highlight tape just seemed to be cleaning up other players good plays.

I'm not saying he isn't good. He is good. But I'm just not seeing an all pro here. Hell, pretty sure the one USC fan on here said the same thing.

If we even remotely think Mariota has a chance to be a franchise QB, this is not a difficult decision.

I've flip-flopped on this position, but give me Leonard Williams. I don't think we'll be able to work out a trade worthy of #2. It's not impossible, I just think its unlikely.

Let's make this defense elite. If healthy, we could have a top-10 defense next year. Williams is the final piece to the puzzle.

Then go offense at #33, I'd prefer RB/WR, but RT is possible. I'd love Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley, but its looking more likely they'll go in rd1.

I like Mariota, but not nearly as much as Williams. Going BPA.

Williams seems like a clone of Gerald McCoy. He's been graded out as the best overall player in a draft class with a good amount talent on both sides of the ball. He's big, powerful, has a great motor, and he has above average speed for a big guy,

I just don't see how we can pass him up.

If the Titans are sticking with Mettenberger then you have to take Williams at #2
    or trade down

I agree with you, but only if they are sold on the fact that williams is going to be a stud. If there is even a little something that makes them think posible bust, we should trade. Even if we don't get a blockbuster deal to move to slide back.
