Bradford may be injury prone but he's eons ahead of Locker as a passer.

Rivers has been on plenty of good teams with great supporting casts!

Bernard Pollard is also a fiery competitor. That didn't work out so well for us.

    Debatable:
    Bradford: 58.6 completion percentage, 59 TD's, and 38 INT's 79.3 Rating
    Locker: 57.5 completion percentage, 27 TD's and 22 INT's 79.0 Rating

Bradford is better but neither have stats that are comparable to Rivers or Brees.

Let's assume we do the above (and even throw in Mett on our side) and make no other free agent moves.

Playing the Fanspeak draft simulator, here is what we could add with that deal:

    Brees (via trade)

    Brandon Scherf OT Saints 1st
    Todd Gurley RB Saints 1st
    Odighizuwa OLB Titans 2nd
Dorial Green Beckham WR Saints 2nd
    Laken Tomlinson G Titans 3rd
    Danielle Hunter DE Saints 3rd
    Phillip Dorsett WR Saints 3rd
    Ellis McCarthy DT Titans 4th
    Senquez Golson CB Titans 5th
    Taiwan Jones ILB Saints 5th
    Shaq Mason C/G Saints 5th
    Austin Shepard OT Titans 6th
Louis Trinca Pasat DT Saints 6th
    Ibraheim Campbell S Titans 6th
    Nick Marshall CB Saints 7th

That's an elite new starting QB, and new starters at WR, OT, G, DE, and competition in several spots netting 4OL, 1RB, 2WR, 2LB, 3DL, 2CB, 1S.

We would compete for playoffs/championships immediately.

Of course the Saints are not going to trade Brees so it doesn't matter.

Thought I read somewhere that there was a cap on how many draft picks a team could have in any given draft? Could be totally wrong on that though.

I'd take Rivers over Brees at this point. Would honestly rather see what we got in Mett than start Bradford.
