    Trade the Jets for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd plus a 1st next season and go:
    1) Amari Cooper, Wr, Alabama
    2) Cameron Erving, OL, FSU
    2) Jay Ajayi, HB, Boise
    3) Oregon CB with a really hard name
    3) Washington DE with a really hard name

    That would be my dream draft if we traded down with the Jets

    If one doesn't have faith in the GM or front office, how can one think they would get a good trade and/or use the picks acquired on good players?

    IF the trade were to include two first-rounds and two seconds, I probably jump all over it depending on how far down the Titans have to drop. For example, if it's to #20 and 2016's first-rounder becomes a #25, then I would be pretty real disappointed and would have wanted another second from 2017 or a couple of third-rounders in the mix (or a player). Make that a #10 this season and #15 in 2016, with the corresponding second-rounders, then you have something.

    Well one thought on that is that we might have a different GM next year, so someone else could be choosing the extra 2016 first rounder (or whatever future picks we get in a trade).

    Alternatively, I think I'll just keep reading it and making fun of you. There is just no reason to include "webster sucks" "franchise is in shamble" "not going to renew tickets" in every....single....post....in....every...single...thread.

    We regular forum readers know you think that. We know you are highly impressed with your own intellect and you "called it". Are you just trying to make sure every new member knows where you stand? Or do you actually think Webster is going to browse GoTitans and say "Hey Riverfakefan is right, I need to do better or he is going to sell his tickets!"

    It appears you don't read what I post in that regard. I can actually respect that. I pointed out in the post that I wrote the trade is a good idea if two things occurred- one of which was a GM and talent evaluation BETTER than the ones that put us in our current situation. Not really alarmist as you are suggesting, simply a logical statement.

    If the Titans want to stick with Mett, then a trade makes the most sense. Titans still have plenty of holes and still need the additional talent on the roster. We can still acquire a top WR or RB or go ahead and lock up our RT position. If we want to go defense we can find someone along the DL like Shelton. I would say CB but we did just sign Cox for starters money.
