Also, keep in mind the more you exercise the less total calories you are netting. So if you are on like 1,800 calories and exercising a s***load every day you are probably going to feel like crap and have no energy. Eating 2,000 calories and burning 200 in a day is effectively the same as eating 1,800 calories and doing zero exercise.

So exercising not only gives you cardiovascular benefits but also allows you to eat a little more while still losing weight so you aren't so damn hungry all the time.

Ive most 5 pounds in two days of capping myself at 2000 calories. Plus 10-15 mins jump rope eryday. Its kinda fun counting cals...I like to see how much good food I can get into those 2000. The first day I ducked up and ate a couple cookies and drank a 20 oz do, I was so lethargic all day. Next day no sweets no soda just omelettes and fajitas and a sandwich for lunch and I felt great all day, not even hungry between meals at all

Great job. Yeah, when you're not eating a bunch of pure crap it's surprising how much food it actually takes to get to 2,000 calories.

Try to cut the sodas out completely. That's just empty calories and once you get used to not drinking them you won't even miss them. Not to mention you will feel a lot better as you've already experienced.

One of the great things about calorie counting is it allows you to throw in the occasional couple cookies or whatever. You don't gotta completely deprive yourself of sweets or "junk food" forever and ever. As long as you don't go over your calorie limit or make it an every day thing it's all good. Right now I'm on a strict 2,000-2,200 calorie diet and I still have the occasional guilty pleasures like chocolate and peanut butter once every few days.

Been steady losing about 1.5 pounds a day. Usually I'm lighter when going to bed than I am when waking up in the morning.

I think my wife try a keep me fat...she brought home kit kats and chocolate donuts and ice cream and fruit snacks lol.

I've lost 25 lbs since late January. Had to for the Air Force. they use BMI which is bull****. I had a full blown 6 pack at 220. Now I'm 195 and a cardio bunny. Still lift cause it's my passion but I can't get over how BS the BMI is. I understand it is easy to use and definitive but I would have not been allowed in cause I'm 20+ lbs over even though I have very little body fat.

Anyway the best way to lose weight is lower carbs. Don't drink any of your calories either. Stick to water or tea or coffee black. Get steam bags of veggies if you are lazy like me and hate preparing them and eat plenty of protein. That along with lifting and cardio will melt the fat off. I'm not saying go full paleo cause even I don't follow it to a T but cutting out processed foods will make a huge difference to the average joe.

Good job. Weigh yourself at the same time every day. I like to do it first thing in the morning, before consuming anything.
