But because he hasn't done it means he can't do it. People are saying Mariota hasn't done this or that, and that's true. But he hasn't had to do it. Doesn't mean he can't . I'm not sure who we will draft at all. Titans probably don't know right now. But we need playmakers and game changers. If mariota can do that, count me in. If Williams can do that, count me in. But team has to have the QB. We are not sure we have THE one.

I'm pretty sure we know we don't have the one. The problem is Mariota isn't the one either.

Sucks that Philly wasn't picking at 3 or 4...trade down and still get Williams. I'm not convinced he makes it past Jags at 3.

I can see Jags going Cooper. They need to give Bortles some help.

I think you haters might as well get ready for Mariota in the two-tone blue.

Make no mistake, another year even remotely resembling last year and Whisenhunt and/or Webster are on the chopping block. And they know this. Add in all the uncertainty with the ownership structure and potential sale and that's just gotta make them even more nervous.

So basically, barring a trade down (which I just do not see happening and never have), they have two options.... LW or MM. And the bottom line is regardless of how good LW is he's not going to drastically transform this team in 2015. While MM at least could.

If you were in their shoes with your job on the line how comfortable would you be heading into the season with Zach Mettenberger and Charlie Whitehurst as your top 2 QBs?

With a vastly improved defense including LW we could improve our record alot, with Mett managing the offense.

And Im not and never was a Mett fan.

But leaving the best prospect on the board while you reach for MM is not that smart to me.

He is not like that once in a lifetime QB you guys make him out to be. I'll argue that Winston isn't either. But he is the best QB of this class.

The year Luck and RG3 came out, Andrew Luck was soooo far ahead of RG3 in terms of being a better QB, and yet pre-draft people started to jump on the RG3 train.

That situation reminds me of this situation.

    Right now I want

    1.Winston
    2.LW
    3.Trade
    4.MM

Are you aware the Titans have not met with Winston in private yet? Its unusual a team draft a guy they dont even have in for an interview...

I agree. Look at the years eli manning won his super bowls. He was surrounded by talent and their defense was top 5. Dude barely managed the offense and look where it got them.
