Yea I thought Kaepernick was gonna be a stud. And he was a stud the majority of the time before last season.

I still think he can be pretty good (probably not as good as I thought)... I think part of it has to do with him getting a big ego and not caring nearly as much since his pay day.

In 2012 and (most of) 2013, he showed the ability to throw dimes with pinpoint accuracy. In 2014, he had no accuracy. My conclusion... he pulled a CJ.

But there's also the fact that the 49ers OL actually struggled quite a bit, Crabtree was crap, and Vernon Davis was never utilized properly in the offense for whatever reason. It's not like it was ALL on Kaep.

Just like it's not ALL on Mett.

The fact of the matter is that you argued that Kaep and Wilson were beneath JFL... So I reamed you for it. And I'll continue reaming you for it. You can't come back from saying things like that. It was like when the dude on here (CJtheBeast?) said VY is better than Aaron Rodgers. Your credibility forever takes a hit and the damage is irreparable.

Even if Kaep is average, that's way better than Locker. And that was always my point. You just didn't understand.

Obviously the locker argument is lost. But if he was healthy he was better than Kaep. Easy. Kaep never looked as good as Jake did through four games last year. Anyone denying it is just a Jake hater..which is understandable. Stupid argument at this point. But I'll be redeemed when Wilson kaep and mariota all flame out...kaep is almost there..

Mariota will put our team back in the hole for another 3 years! He is not worthy of the 2nd overall pick. I pray to God we can trade out and then I don't have to worry about it. Cooper or Williams or the lions share in a trade, please no Duck.

    So many talent scouts online...

    "Eye test"

"I don't like his throwing motion"

"I used pre-algebra to compile his stats, I don't like him"

"PK said it was a bad pick"

"My brother's wife's cousin's friend coaches high school football. He said pass on a QB"

    Stupid ****s

Mariota maybe...Wilson now has Graham to throw to..they'll add a WR in the draft as well and from what I've read Kaepernick is working with Warner and and showing improvement plus they added Torrey Smith..so we'll see I guess

2nd overall pick! You think Mariota is worth it? Hasn't played in a pro set, or taken a snap from under center. Enlighten me as to why we should risk picking him up with our pick. I will put it this way- Do we win if we draft him? Is he THE franchise no doubter QB? That is what he has to be in order to draft him at 2. Does he look like the type of player our current coach likes to use in his offense? NO. Insert square peg in round hole. A ****ing disaster is waiting for us if we take him, and I can't take that again.

Amari would also help the development of Mettenberger (or Mariota), that's huge.
