I think that Andy Dalton is capable of winning a championship if he can play the way he does in the regular season in playoffs. And Drew Stanton was not the starting QB of the Cardinals, Carson Palmer was and I think Palmer is capable of winning too.

Trent Dilfer won his Superbowl in the 2000 season, Brad Johnson won his Superbowl in the 2002 season, and Jeff Hostetler in the 1990 season. I think the NFL has changed a lot since these knuckleheads won and my proof is to look at the last decade of Superbowl QB winners.

    Tom Brady
    Russell Wilson
    Joe Flacco
    Eli Manning
    Aaron Rodgers
    Drew Brees
    Ben Roethlisberger
    Eli Manning
    Peyton Manning
    Ben Roethlisberger

Maybe it is too early to put the label on Mettenberger as a loser, but I haven't seen him win a game yet have you? One thing I have seen in him is an interception every game. He's a 6th round QB, I don't expect him to be able to win us football games.

We don't get to see Mett's attitude in the film room. We don't know how fast (or slow) he picked up the playbook (which, by most accounts, it pretty complex). We don't know the level of Mett's dedication to the game.

    But Whiz does.

I don't think Whiz is looking at Mett's stats last year. He's looking at whether or not he improved each week in his decision-making. I think he's more about Mett's ability to play his system and the potential jump he'll make with him being #1 through OTAs, training camp and the preseason.

I think he'll want to pass on Mariota and give 2015 to Mett. I think the Titans desperately want to trade down a few spots and get Cooper, White or one of the OLBs.

I have faith in Mett and see why he potentially deserves a chance in 2015. I also like Winston and Mariota, and if we draft one, so be it. I won't be angry by any account. I think both have the potential to be franchise QBs and I totally understand us taking a swing at one. Especially under this CBA.

Like they say, you can wish in one hand.....

I still just can't see a trade happening. I think the WAS/STL deal from a few years back makes it even more difficult. They set a hell of a precedent. And I just can't see anyone giving up anything remotely close to three 1st rounders for Marcus Mariota or Leonard Williams. Honestly, I can't even see anyone giving up two 1st rounders for them.

    I think 95% chance we're picking at 2.

If we pick at two, I'd much rather see Cooper than Williams.

Obviously is rather trade back and get Cooper or white.

Good luck with Dalton LOL...what is it that they say about "ifs, ands, and buts"?

I also crack up at the whole "NFL has changed alot since 200x" thing...just silly.

Take a look at your list...what round was Brady picked in? And yes, I KNOW that he is an exception....BUT you can't have it both ways, calling him an exception while slamming Mett because he was a 6th round pick. As for the others, Wilson was a 3rd rounder, Brees was a second rounder, and Rodgers nearly fell to the second round. Nearly half of the players on that list were not first rounders.

But I guess the NFL has changed alot since those "knuckleheads" won in 2014 and 2015 as well LOL...I mean it has been 3 months...geez.

If Webster views Mariota as franchise QB no matter what is offered you take him. And Webster is the one doing the picking, yes whiz will have input. But it is webster's decision. If he does not feel he is a franchise QB, then try to trade out. So much good and bad on every player in the draft. I have no idea how this plays out. Will be interesting though .

Yes, Webster is ultimately responsible for the pick but I can't see him forcing a QB on Whiz or asking Whiz to change his system to accommodate a QB Whiz doesn't think can run it.

    It would doom them both.
