    Between all the bad going on in Oakland, this guy was the only rock they could lean on. IDK why theyre even letting him shop his services, is $4M/yr really that much for them... We'd be wise to pay him, we have plenty to spend.

    Wis. Is a solid center and is probably one of the 10 best at his spot on the OL. Ive watched a little of his work (my brothers a raiders fan) and he has all the tools to be a great OC but he needs to put it all together.

    I was calling for this last month as it would let Schwenkie slide over and challenge LeVitre for LOG and possibly upgrade two spots. If we add in a Rat in the first 3 rounds we could really have a young talented OL for the next few seasons.

    The big plus with adding him is he's a full-time starter, and on this team thats crucial to taking steps towards being good again. For the last 3 seasons our OLine has fallen apart as the year goes on, with Wis that maybe doesn't happen again. He'd be vital in helping reclaim dominance up front, Schwenke is always hurt and Chris Spencer has no business starting for an NFL team. How can a OLine grow if their center isnt always available.....

    Yeah they went out and spent a ton on Rodney Hudson who is an upgrade but not by much. I would have rather paid my own guy much less who I know is a solid ass center than go out and break the bank on Hudson. I would love this signing and that's not just the penn state fan talking in me the guys good and Schwenke is a softie. Easy call and a good move by Webster if he gets it done.

    Yea fully agree, but this is the Raiders just being the Raiders letting good players leave.

    Hope we win the Wisiewski sweepstakes, he's already left New England and Jacksonville without a deal, hopefully we throw a loaded duffle bag his way and hand him a pen.
