    I don't believe Wright and especially Hunter will ever achieve much to justify where we drafted them. You'd do better not to speculate.

    Can't support that....sorry. I think that our #2 is worth more than that.

    Now, if the goal is to have grounds for replacing Webster/Whis ASAP, this would be a good way to accomplish that IMO.

    are you under the impression we're keeping said player picked 2nd overall beyond 2019 when Rivers might begin thinking retirement?

    I think that we can do better than just giving our #2 away here. Who knows what happens in 2019 with either Rivers or a potential #2.

    Players would love to have you as a GM though LOL....

    Yes I do, but I also realize that we may have more leverage with that #2 than you are giving us credit for...we can do better than straight up for Rivers, Brees, or several others here IMO.

    Do you realize the importance of the other positions on the team that we are dumping on if we just cave to a straight up trade?

    Also, just to clarify, you are not suggesting throwing in Casey with our #2 for Rivers, right?
