As if there isn't more to the position. Mariota can make "all the throws" and can probably work through his progressions faster than Mettenberger.

 

When someone says mariota can make AlL the throws and work through progressions they outed themselves as football illiterate

I think it's pretty much established that Mariota didn't have to go through progressions in college. It was pretty much a one read offense for the most part.

Not saying he can't do it, but he just hasn't shown he can.

 

Knowing where guys will flash open is not a negative, why do people keep painting that picture?

 

For the people who say Mariota never went through his progressions clearly never watched him play. You see him do it on nearly every play.

 

All 520 does is drop doodoo, he won't tell you why mariota is bad but just that he's from Oregon

 

I dont think anybody thinks MM is bad, just that he seems to have a lot of question marks and you dont want that from your potential franchise QB
