Could Tampa Draft Mariota?

never trust anyone during draft month, no one is to be trusted. dont even trust yourself, probably a good idea to go with you feelings back in January. I myself have gone from Winston, to Williams, to Fowler, back to Winston, to Mariota, to Mariota's cousin Jeff, IDK anymore, too much time to think.

Nah, I prefer to let the season digest a little. In Dec/January on a 2-14 team, we tend to point the finger at everyone. We want everyone fired, and everyone cut. We need to give ourselves time to cool off, and objectively look at the team. Where are the major flaws? What was not as bad as it seemed? What was worse than it seemed? Did we go too hard on some players, and not harsh enough on others?

 

Yea thats cool and all, cept that our season was over in November, so many of us have been focused on the draft since then.

 

I don't know what team you are a fan of, but the Titans season was over in sept

The Bucs have already given up on Glennon though. More than once. Not to mention they are shopping him. The Titans are not shopping Mett and are publicly saying they are not sure they will take a QB because they like Mett. The Bucs are trying to trade Glennon & are not endorsing him as their back up let alone the starter.

IMO the Bucs have given Glennon all the shot they are going to give him. I do not think they handled it well. He never got a real shot to be the guy. He may have been a good starter if they really gave him a good look. The thing is they were never really committed to him as their guy. Webster & Whiz both saying publicly they really like Mett.

I am not sure that Mariotta will be good, or that Mett is the answer. I do not even think Winston is a great bet. You just never know until you give them a real shot.

 

I hope not, then we might get stuck with the immature interception machine.
