I think if anything, wis would take Levitres spot. He played some guard in college.

for the people saying this would be a depth signing....no it wouldn't. If we sign him, it's to replace someone. Whether it's to replace soft schwenke or the overpaid douche levitre, I'm not sure. Either way I think it's a good move. I remember wanting him a few years ago and then he proved the analysts wrong who were calling him weak when he got 30 reps at the combine.

I'd love it regardless. I still think Levitre could have a bounce back year, dudes been hurt every pre-season he's been here. This could be the first season he starts healthy... but still, don't expect anything from him.

Could have a solid OL if we draft a RT rd 2 or 3, Lewan and Warmack take the next step, Wis starts at C, and Levitre bounces back and plays like he did in BUF. Absolute best case scenario.

He is visiting a lot of teams the past week or so. I wonder if his asking price is too high.

His asking price is probably too high, but we should just go ahead and give him what he wants.

At this point Webster has nothing to lose... just throw a bunch of money at players and hope it works.

Webster's seat is on fire right now.

Exactly. He has the money to spend, why not spend it. Wisniewski would only help our team, makes him look better to return. Although, if he flops like Levitre did... would probably get him fired.

I don't think a solid center is going to swing websters stay one way or another.

He goes down with the ship depending on this draft and how the team does. Don't know why Wiesenewski wouldn't help no matter the asking price.

Let's face it Webster doesn't have much longer to keep drafting o lineman for them to develop in a couple years. Win or gtfo

It always seems like the FO thinks we have the upper hand on signings. They're always skeptical on pulling the freakn trigger. Not sure why they haven't and to be honest, not sure they will. This FO is constantly late to the party so to speak. Every signing seems to be an "im sorry we suck on our assessing talent" signing. "I'm sorry we didn't give you the meat and potatoes, but hey here is some juice out of the pan".

    Exactly what cdubbs said...

Webster's fate is not in the hands of Wisniewski. Even if the dude sucks, it won't be the reason Webster gets sh*t canned.

He'll get fired because he's had an abysmal run as GM.

Webby needs to draft like someone who deserves to be a GM of an NFL franchise. He better hope his guys start contributing in a big way this season. He is so done otherwise... and Whiz can go with him.
