Mariota vs. Leonard Williams vs. Trade

That paragraph is a whole bunch of nothing, the only thing worthwhile he said was Mariota throws off balance and he's right, but to Mariota's credit he connects almost every time.

In the pocket Mariota is composed, good footwork, waits til he has to run then he'll run around and throw. Its damn near impossible to throw balanced on the move.

Im telling you man, dont fall for it, these people in your head have you fooled like a mother. Marcus Mariota is legit, if he wasn't I wouldn't be wasting either of our time.

I was a huge teddy bridgewater advocate, even after that terrible pro day he had, and why, cause I simply broke down his film and made a choice that Id love for that to be my teams QB.

If we do take mariota, ill get on board with it when he proves he can play in the NFL. VY came out and destroyed his rookie year then **** the bed. Gunna take some consistent wins for years to say it was worth it

 

Spot on! It was easy to see that Manziel would suck. I am with you man, it's a gamble with whoever we take, but to be angry you get a guy like Mariota, you would have to be nuts. At worst, he is depth which is insanely needed anyway.

 

Vince Young was a headcase....BIG difference. There is no doubt that Mariota is a high risk high reward pick, but they all are to an extent right?!

 

Mariota is a small gamble, and so is Winston, which brings me back to Phillip Rivers as being our best chance, but thats for another thread.

All draft picks are gambles, youre asking 21 & 22 year old kids to come play with grown ups, theres a learning curve for all of them.

 

Ehh IDK that Mariota is that high a risk, unlike VY he's 1.) smart, and 2.) has a good supporting cast. VY fell apart because he came from a crack house, and chose to run around town with Lendale White and other idiots. Mariota has strong family values and is skipping the draft to be with the people that make him the man he is.

Mariota is what I wish VY was.

 

Vince young was a head case. Winston is a head case. We don't need that again. Mariota is not a head case. The draft is all speculation. He can do this he cant do this . It's a gamble. Each pick is a gamble.
