and his record was 6-6 ... He is a solid QB, but he is not upper echelon is all I am saying.

So you think he can be elite? I dont

 

Of course he's currently not upper echelon, that takes a while to establish. But he absolutely could end up being an elite QB. Like you said he went 6-6 with a cast of nobodies. AP was out, Cordarrelle Patterson fell off the face of the planet about the same time Bridgewater got the green light to take over. His TE got hurt, he was basically all they had by seasons end. He also had a couple 300-yard games, high passer ratings in 8 of his 12 games, multiple multiple TD games. Teddy Bridgewater could very well be the leagues next elite QB.

I second that....Jameis looked better at the combine, but tons of baggage and turns the ball over. Too risky for us honestly, especially with Whis making things tough at the QB position.

I'm leaning towards wanting Mariota over Winston anyways.

 

Wonder if Jameis at #2 would help entice the Chargers to give us Rivers and their #17. A lot of teams are salivating for JW, but they are under the impression that he is going #1. It would be like throwing red meat to the dogs.
