Barksdale visiting Titans

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Barksdale is mentioned of late on ESPN or PFT or anywhere really, they all say something like how he is "mysteriously" unsigned or "curiously" unsigned? There has GOT to be a real reason no one has bit on this guy. Whether its price, health or attitude people all seem to want to see what happens in the draft first before taking a chance on him. I respect that.

 

I have no faith in Webster to find a starting RT in the 3rd or 4th. Heck he has not hit on his 2nd round picks.

 

I think Barksdale should be signed so we don't have to fill that position with a questionmark draft pick. I think the real reason he isn't signed is because this draft isn't OT-rich like most drafts in recent years have been. He wants to wait until afterwards because some teams(probably us included) will be desperate for a real starting RT, and then the bidding war begins.

 

I saw a mock last night that had us trading down & taking an OT in the 1st. I will loose my mind if this happens. I know that games are won in the trenches Blah Blah. However, this team is too devoid of talent to not take an impact player in the 1st round. We have no greater need in the 1st round than the position of PLAY MAKER offense or defense. We cannot afford to leave the 1st & 2nd rounds without a day 1 impact guy at both picks!!!

 

I agree, if we get both Browns picks we could get a playmaker and an OT. That would be nice.
