Chip Kelly believes he can take an average high school QB and make him a productive NFL QB.

So if he thinks he can do this with anyone, why would he try to get the ONE GUY who will screw it up?

"I can teach anyone to do this. I think I want the guy who is unteachable and won't even try".

Mett in my eyes is about a 65-70 in Madden, Manziel about as bad as the Titans mini LB

Imagine how they would look this year if they didn't make some dumba$$ moves last draft?

Bridgewater instead of Johnny Out of Football
    Beckham Jr instead of Gilbert
This year they could be in a position to draft WR Parker and Melvin Gordon

That's not even including the Richardson/Weeden year...hindsight is 20/20 but some dumb moves on their part.

Pretty funny coming from a Titans fan lol.. We're just as much if not more of a laughing stock..

As for Manziel, I love how everyone has just completely given up on him. He's talented, his wonderlic score says he's a damn near genius, and hes competitive as hell. So he ****ed up. It happens. He's young, he'll bounce back, whether it be with the Browns or someone else.

Agreed with this whole statement, I live in Ohio and apparently the consensus with these turd fans is that Tennessee is the new factory of sadness. Obviously they are exaggerating since they haven't even made playoffs since '02, but it's pretty upsetting getting made fun of by Browns fans and knowing you can't really argue because our team has only one consensus good player in Casey(and now Orakpo too I suppose).

You're also right about Manziel, but it's not that everyone gave up on him, it's that for some reason everyone loves to hate him, just like they used to with Tebow. He likes to party, okay, but so does Gronk but people love him because of it for some reason. Manziel has only been in the league for one year and didn't get much of a chance to make an impression. I still think he could work out, especially in Philly actually so that trade would make sense.

What I don't understand is why in the hell the Browns traded up to get him, and now apparently after one year have given up on him?! If you draft a QB in the first round you mold the offense to fit his style, period. They knew going in he wasn't a pro-style QB and should have known they would have to improvise to suit him, but they are for some reason remaining stubborn and trying to either mold him into what he isn't or replace him altogether.

The Browns baffle me, every year they go after a new QB even if their old QB was showing signs of promise. They deserve to remain the factory of sadness for all of this idiocy IMO.

With all that being said, I do not want him on the Titans. Stick with Mett, draft another low-rounder to sit at 3rd in depth. Mett had decent rookie stats with an absolute horror show of an O-Line last season, even broke a few rookie records. He also only threw more INTs than TDs in 2 games of 7, one being when he came in relief to CBJ and only had 5 passes, and then the final game of his season when he was injured. The only thing that scares me is that he didn't win any of those games, but I think he might be the perfect fit for Whiz's system and has tons of upside. There aren't really a whole lot of QB options available in FA anymore and we already have CBJ who knows the offense to sit comfortably at 2. Throwing our #2 at a questionmark QB is not something I am interested in. We need a virtual guarantee of a good player to start rebuilding this team.
