2015 GoTitans GM Mock Draft

Yeah I was very tempted to go DB for Houston. No way the first half of the real draft passes without a DB selected.

 

I don't see Hou going RB. I know Foster is hurt a lot, but they have way bigger issues than rb.

Meanwhile the best OL and the best CB remain on the board... I feel like everyone forgot about the best OL.

Neither OL or CB made sense for the Chargers IMO, so I narrowed it down to Strong, Brown, Goldman... Went with Brown.

Even thought about going RB back to back with Gordon, but figured it was too early for him, and the Chargers would just take a RB in the 2nd or 3rd.

 

We will have a nice selection of OT's with first round grades at 33

 

Man I'm sorry guys. The first time I haven't been on the site in like 2 days and I miss the freaking mock draft. Apologies again.

 

In most fan mock drafts the OL especially are overlooked. Just not a 'sexy' pick!

 

I just figured we were supposed to be as realistic with our picks as possible.

Had it not been for the Chargers' signing of Orlando Franklin and re-signing of Dunlap, I would've taken Brandon Scherff in a heartbeat.

Did everyone forget about Scherff? I know he's technically a guard and we've grown sick of the idea of a guard early after the Warmack pick. But Scherff is much more athletic and actually has a chance to play as an OT. He did play some LT in the past.

I didn't even want to mention him... just to see how far he'd fall. Surely he goes within the next three picks in this mock.

 

I was deciding between Jaelen Strong, Eddie Goldman, Trae Waynes, and Scherff would have been a great value there. But in my research, everyone had DL as the Browns #1 need, especially to stop the run, so that's why I went with Goldman.
