The obvious answer is that we are SO far away from a complete team (thank you Webster). I'd take Winston and immediately start working the phones for a trade I wanted. I'd let everybody know we will keep him and build around him the next couple of years AND we are not planning on playoffs for a year or two as we build. Oh- you'd like him now? Well........lets talk about how bad you need him now........

It is stupid. We have had 4 months to make deals and we're gonna do it wait to do it live? I don't see the point, cause the other team doesn't believe we might take a QB???

 

I mean would another team really not believe that we're interested at QB? That we're bluffing and we're 100% going in on Mettenberger? Just seems silly to pick a person we don't think is our guy just to try and trade him.

 

All they would have to do is have him arrested on false charges while he's up there for a visit.
